American Tattoo Society had its ribbon cutting at the Exchange on Travis AFB.

Fayetteville, NC (Feb 19, 2023) – American Tattoo Society (ATS) which has some of the largest & highest-rated tattoo studios in the country announced today that it had its grand opening ribbon cutting on Travis Air Force Base Exchange in Fairfield California. This will be the third tattoo studio opened on an Air Force base by ATS since 2020 and their 4th on-base studio overall bringing the total open studios to six. “The base was ready for ATS, from the very first day we began setup we had people come in to welcome us and reach out about getting an appointment,” says Ryan Harrell who along with his wife Nicole Harrell owns American Tattoo Society & the All American Tattoo Conventions. The Travis AFB location had a soft opening on January 16th and its ribbon cutting on Feb 17th to allow for training staff and traveling artists to get in for the event.

“With the new regulations in place, the Air Force has moved aggressively to get more studios set up so we expect more Air Force base studios from ATS in the very near future!” said Nicole Harrell

ATS opened its first on-base location in Las Vegas Nevada at Nellis Air Force Base In September of 2020. Ryan says they have more on-base locations locked in that will be announced after they have details worked out. “We will have traveling artists scheduled until the studio has its house artists in place, but even after that we will always bring guest artists in to give a wide variety of talent to each base studio,” said Ryan who also noted the Travis AFB shop is fully staffed and operating on a full schedule just a month after opening. American Tattoo Society also has a 7,000+ square foot location on Yadkin Rd right outside of Fort Bragg NC and 5,000+ square foot shop outside of Camp LeJeune NC, along with on-base studios at Nellis AFB, MacDill AFB, and Ft Bliss Texas.
