American Tattoo Society has opened the first tattoo studio on an Army Base at Fort Bliss Texas.

Fayetteville, NC (May 8, 2021) – American Tattoo Society (ATS) who has some of the largest & highest rated tattoo studios in the country announced today that it has officially opened the first tattoo studio on an Army base in Fort Bliss Texas. The studio opened May 1st with Inkmaster alumni James Vaughn and Mark Matthews & will have up to nine artists at a time to serve the Ft Bliss installation 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm. “We were born and raised in Fayetteville NC and ATS was founded tattooing outside of Ft Bragg so we are excited to be serving the service members at Ft Bliss.” says Ryan Harrell who along with his wife Nicole Harrell own both American Tattoo Society & the All American Tattoo Conventions.

“Tattoos have a long tradition with the military and now the Exchange offers this service in a safety-focused environment. Our focus is to provide this service in a safe, sanitized and secure setting.” said Fort Bliss Exchange General Manager Michael Brennan

ATS opened its first on-base location in Las Vegas Nevada at Nellis Air Force Base in September of 2020.  The second on base location opened in March at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida.  ATS is scheduled to open a new tattoo studio on a military base every 60 days.

 

American Tattoo Society’s 7,000+ square foot location on Yadkin Rd right outside of Fort Bragg NC and 5,000+ square foot shop in Jacksonville NC right outside of Camp LeJeune NC will operate as normal with their 30+ tattoo artists & piercers.
