Fayetteville, NC (June 21, 2023) – American Tattoo Society (ATS), a company known for their premier tattoo studios around the country, has announced the opening of their newest location! Officially, as of June 14th, the new studio inside the Exchange on Fort Drum is open for business and currently booking clients.

The studio opened with a full house of tattooers, including Inkmaster alumni, James Vaughn. The Fort Drum location will showcase up to six artists at a time to serve the Ft Drum installation. Their hours of operation are currently 10am to 8pm, seven days a week.

A local Army veteran named John passed by the newly opened location and exclaimed, “I never thought I’d see the day!” This type of statement from onlookers is not an uncommon occurrence these days, considering the abundance of American Tattoo Society locations opening up across the nation’s Army and Air Force bases.

American Tattoo Society opened up its very first on-base location September of 2020 in Las Vegas Nevada on Nellis Air Force Base. The company is currently working with AAFES and the military to aggressively open more studios around the world. This way, American Tattoo Society can satisfy the need for on base tattoo options for soldiers. American Tattoo Society is on a schedule to open at least one new studio on a military installation every 60 days in 2023.

Opened in 2014, American Tattoo Society’s 7,000+ square foot flagship studio is located on Yadkin Rd right outside of Fort Bragg NC.
