*Due to American Tattoo Society locations being in different states and some being on Military installations COVID protocols may be different per location. The items below are an example of precautions ATS is taking to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and all variants. Please be patient with our staff as we work through these.*
To help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will practice social distancing as recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC). If you have felt ill in the past 5 days, have had a fever, were coughing, or are/were showing signs of sickness you will need to reschedule your appointment for at least 3 weeks. Â
We will be taking the following steps at each American Tattoo Society location until further notice to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19):
- Possibly allowing only customers that are being serviced to enter the booth American Tattoo Society.
- Please eat before coming to your appointment or before you walk in. This will keep clients from having to remove masks to eat in the studio.
- If you are not a customer receiving a service today, please give us a call, shoot us an email or contact us on social media for an appointment. Some studios are limiting the number of customers in the lobby due to the size, if you do choose to walk in please be patient.
IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER RECEIVING A SERVICE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES:Â
- Before entering the building an ATS team member may scan for your temperature using a no-touch thermometer. If your body temperature is not in a normal range we will have to reschedule your appointment.Â
- Upon entering the building an ATS team member will walk you directly to the bathroom to wash your hands with soap for at least 30 seconds or offer hand sanitizer. Â
- Everyone entering the building will have to wear a mask. If you do not bring your own mask an ATS team member can get you one for our masks at no cost before you wash your hands.
- Please accept any of our staff coming around and giving you hand sanitizer.
- Please be mindful of your hands, if possible limit touching of objects, surfaces, counters, and your face.
- Paperwork will be handed to you, and you will be asked to sit. If filing paperwork electronically please let a team member wipe down the tablet before each use.
- Please try to limit any contact with anyone in the shop except for your provider (artist).
- With the exception of your artist please try to practice social distancing while inside the shop.
- If you do cough or sneeze, please cover your mouth with your elbow.
- Please stand on marked spaces on the floor when you are not in a booth with your artist or practice social distancing.
- If you have a medical reason for not being able to wear a mask please let us know ASAP. Some artists have compromised immune systems and we will require that all customers visiting certain artists wear a mask during their appointment. If this is the case we may need to re-schedule you or place you with a different artist.
- IF we have an artist with a medical condition that requires them to be unmasked for periods of time you will be notified when you book the appointment.
- Please be kind to our front counter staff, the whole world is short-staffed and they are dealing with a lot of rescheduling and booked schedules.
